Dry Eye Treatment
Our optometrist like to treat the root cause of dry eye. We are able to help you create a plan to manage your dry eyes using medications, lid hygiene and more. During your eye exam we can also screen for meibomian gland dysfunction, which could be the cause of your dry eye symptoms. We offer Advanced In-Office Dry Eye Treatments as Radio frequency and Intense pulse light to treat severe symptoms of dry including burning, itching, redness and irritation.
Radiofrequency technology gently delivers thermal energy around the eyelids to unclog the eyelid meibomian glands, and increase overall tear production. The result is brighter, fresher, more lubricated eyes, along with reduced dark circles and undereye puffiness.
IPL technology gently delivers pulses of light around the eyelids to reduce inflammation, unclog the eyelid meibomian glands, and increase overall tear production. The result is brighter, fresher, more lubricated eyes, along with reduced redness and discoloration.
